You’ve assessed the cabinet, checked how wide the door will open and chosen your hinges. Job done. Then the lovely representative on the phone asks, “which mounting plate would you like?”
Long pause….. “There’s more than one?”
Just like our wide range of hinges, there are multiple options for mounting plates (the bit which fixes to the cabinet) and your hinge clips to. A lot of time it comes down to personal preference. Many joiners will take the same plate each time, as it’s the one they’ve always used. If it works, why change it?

Blum 173L8100 – Clip Cruciform Mounting Plate (0mm)
This is a straightforward, manually-adjustable clip-on cruciform plate designed for quick installation as it comes with pre-mounted system screws (requiring pre-drilled 5mm diameter holes).
